Krakow Re-Opens Its Doors To The Public

On the last day of June (last month) the last branch of the National Museum of Krakow: Czartoryski Museum was re-opened after the break due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The NMK was eager for the summer to bring more people in to see the historical beauties on display, so they took all preventional measures in order to open their gates again. They were not the only ones. Krakow galleries, Galeria Szara Kamienica, Galeria Nosna, and many others re-opened.

Every year the organizers keep in check with the most up-to-date expressions on contemporary phenomena, in order to create a space for dialogue with the audience. This year the focus is on the climate crisis, alienation, fear of future radicalism, economic stratification, and manipulation with imagery – all at the order of the day, if you ask me, with the Coronavirus Pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement.
