The city pulse oximeter rental is starting! Every resident of Krakow will be able to rent the device and return it after an illness, informs councilor Łukasz Wantuch from the presidential club Przyjazny Krakow.

Councilor Wantuch explains that one person who wants to remain anonymous gave him money to buy 25 pulse oximeters.
If there are others willing, this number will increase. The project supervisor is the district councilor Sebastian Piekarek and please write to him about the rental of pulse oximeters from next Wednesday – then the delivery will come.

What is a pulse oximeter?
A pulse oximeter is an electronic device used for the non-invasive measurement of blood saturation. The most common measurement of oxygen saturation in medical procedures is the measurement of blood oxygen saturation (arterial oxygen saturation) by pulse oximetry to counteract respiratory failure. Pulse oximeters are therefore a very useful device for research in the era of the coronavirus pandemic.
